Etchmiadzin Gallery
Etchmiadzin gallery was founded in 1970. The works of American-Armenian sculptor Khoren Ter-Harutyan are displayed here. One can see samples of sculpture, drawing and painting.
Khoren Ter-Harutyan visited Armenia for the first time in 1970. After a year, he has a solo exhibition in the artist's house in Yerevan, which brings him wide recognition. In 1983, the sculptor donated more than 200 art pieces to the motherland.
Since 1994, there has been a permanent exhibition of Khoren Ter-Harutyan in Etchmiatsin: sculptures, paintings made during the years he lived in Jamaica, and graphic works created in different countries. In the gallery you can get acquainted with the sculptor's diverse art. The museum collection includes 57 sculptures, 40 drawings, 10 paintings.
